Our wedding will be an elegant weekend retreat in the remote Adirondacks. In 2008, we spent a memorable week canoeing on the backcountry mountain lakes near Paul Smiths, NY. We want to share our love of this region with you, our guests.
We are getting married at White Pine, a historic Adirondack Great Camp dating from the turn of the century. Great Camps were elaborate private lodges constructed in the wilderness, and White Pine is one of the best preserved of these estates. It features two boathouses on a secluded lake, a Japanese teahouse, rustic cabins with fireplaces, even a bowling alley. During its heyday, it served as the Summer White House for President Calvin Coolidge.
On the occasion of our marraige on May 16th, we invite you to join us at White Pine for a weekend of festive celebration, serene relaxation, and outdoor adventure.
White Pine is located in upstate New York in the Adirondacks. It's a beautiful region of mountains, forests, and lakes. Approximate driving distances from major airports:

We chose White Pine for our wedding weekend so that our guests could enjoy the full Adirondack Great Camp experience by staying on the property. White Pine's 13 historic cabins are rustic and secluded but have been updated with all modern conveniences. Each historic building has antique furnishings and decor, a full kitchen, a porch or patio, and a fireplace or woodstove. Most cabins have multiple private bedrooms with hallway bathrooms, so we will assign you to a cabin to share with your family and friends. If you are attending alone, we may ask you to share a room with twin beds, but we will be sure to coordinate this with you personally in advance.
To stay at White Pine, you will need to book accommodation for both Friday (5/15) and Saturday (5/16) nights. We have already prepaid for every cabin for the weekend, and you can only reserve your room on this website. The price of lodging per adult for the weekend is $125, inclusive of tax. Children can be accommodated in roll-away beds at no additional cost.
We are excited to celebrate our wedding with you, and we look forward to seeing you in May! We value your company most, so please do not feel obligated to give us a gift if it is financially difficult for you. Small gestures, homemade tokens, or mementos that represent you are all welcome.
If you're looking for gift ideas for us, we have created a wish list on Amazon: Our Wish List. To avoid duplicate gifts, if you get us something from our wish list from a different store, please use the "Buying this gift elsewhere" link to mark it as reserved.
